Called to order 6:32p
Board Members - Ray Woodruff, Kyle Harrigan, Tashi TWJ, Jay Burghardt, Geoff Hungerford, Matthew Morrison, Jamie Simino, David Straight
Non members - Dakota Hitt
Minutes - Minutes were sent out just a bit late, and were unable to vote on them. The board asked all members to review them that week, and vote to approve, if applicable.
Minutes were voted on and approved via email
Non member comments - Dakota Hitt came to speak to the board to perhaps set something up for the servicemen and women of Buckley Air Force Base. He was wondering if we could have some club members come over to the base to teach some basic throws and how to play. He said they would be willing to purchase some discs with a custom stamp, and preferred a stamp that could be used for more than one event. The board was very receptive to this, and Geoff Hungerford show a lot of interest and said he would follow up with Dakota for more details. Tentative date set for Aug 29th
Financials - Tashi explained the financials and how she has each event under their own tab, which should make for easier reconciliation once the event is wrapped up. She is looking to close out the Women's Global event.
June finances were voted on and approved.
Website update - nothing to update at this time
Membership - currently at 404 confirmed
Jamie is currently looking at 2019 tags. The board has given him the authority to seek out who/what company he wants to work with for next years tags.
Tagmaster update - all tag matches are running fine.
Tourney Update - Ray Woodruff has requested that all MHDGC events each have their own Facebook page. This will help pass along all pertinent tourney information without the need to have everything posted under the Mile High club page
Past Tourneys - Spring Fling - Kyle spoke of this. All went well. Much better weather than the previous years. He also made a special comment that working with Josh Kreutzer and Gazebo Disc Golf was an absolute pleasure and Josh represented Gazebo and Mile High very well, and would welcome their sponsorship at any upcoming event.
High Plains Challenge - not being ran by Mile High but being supported by club members
Peak One - no updates
Johnny Roberts - Ray spoke briefly about this event and said that it will be double this year, and Purple Park is perhaps on the table. Nothing final at all.
Course Issues - Birds Nest - hoping to have Tee Signs completed this summer
New Business - Volunteer Appreciate night - Wednesday, June 20th - Odyssey Beer Works - 6 - 9p
Meeting adjourned - 8:03
